On September 27, 1920, the poppy became the official flower of the American Legion family to memorialize the soldiers that fought and died during the first world war. The distribution of poppies became a national program of the American Legion led by the American Legion Auxiliary.

Dear Editor, I think people should follow the rules because people could get hurt. In my opinon adults and children should listen to cross guards. It’s important that people cross on cross walks. Another reason is that people should stop when we have the stop sign up. I have seen people that don’t walk on the crosswalk, and my friend told Dear Editor, In my opinion people should follow these rules the most on cross guard. These are my opinions on what needs to be changed. I hope these rules are important enough to fix.
