Post Playhouse launches free Kids Camp; expands theatre education through 2026

This summer, Post Playhouse launched its inaugural Kids Camp, a free five-day theatre program for children ages 3-18 at Fort Robinson State Park. Twenty-five children from Crawford, Harrison, Chadron, and Omaha participated in the camp led by Camp Director Lindsey Nordby.

The group met first at Essence for drinks and conversation on Aug. 21 before having a picnic in the park on Aug. 22. The final event for the group was an excellent meal at the Gordon Country Club that evening. The Class of ‘65 was the largest class to ever graduate from Gordon High School.

August 18, 2013 One of my favorite passages of scripture is the call of Isaiah. As he entered the Temple, in his usual priestly function, he saw a marvelous vision. It had such a dynamic effect upon him, he dedicated himself completely to God’s call.

He scored a career-high 80 points to tie for first in the opening go-round, then was given 73 points while easily riding this palomino in the finals on Sunday. The rodeo was the first of the year in the Central Rocky Mountain Region.

Hawks tip off 2025 season with pair of wins on Sept. 2

By Scott Bidroski The volleyball season for the Hay Springs Hawks officially began this past week as they played a trio of matches. The season began in Oshkosh, Neb. at a triangular with Garden County and Banner County on Tuesday, September 2.

By Scott Bidroski The Hawks Cross Country team put their second event of the year under their belt this past Friday, September 5 in Gering. Senior Parker Wellnitz once again led the charge, picking up another top ten finish with a time of 18:17.36 and an eighth place distinction.

Eagles too much for Mustangs on the road

Bulldogs and Cards nip Mustangs during last week
