(Courtesy Photo) The Gordon High School Class of 1965 got together in Gordon on August 21 and 22. The group met first at Essence for drinks and conversation on Aug. 21 before having a picnic in the park on Aug. 22. The final event for the group was an excellent meal at the Gordon Country Club that evening. The Class of ‘65 was the largest class to ever graduate from Gordon High School.

(Photo by Con Marshall) Chadron State sophomore Tanner Olson of Gordon placed fourth in the bareback riding at the CSC rodeo last weekend. He scored a career-high 80 points to tie for first in the opening go-round, then was given 73 points while easily riding this palomino in the finals on Sunday. The rodeo was the first of the year in the Central Rocky Mountain Region.
