Coffee and Conversation event hosted in Rushville to dive deeper into nuclear power subject

Nuclear experts, utility representatives, and economic development professionals from Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) hosted a Coffee and Conversation event on Monday, August 11 in Rushville.

A weekend, plus a bonus day, of family friendly fun is on tap in Hay Springs on August 21 - 24.The 98th annual Friendly Festival is scheduled to begin on Thursday, August 21 and will run through Sunday, August 24 with events all throughout.

Sheridan County cowboys and cowgirls have big day at 2025 SCFR Junior Rodeo

The 2025 Sheridan County Fair and Rodeo Jr. Rodeo took place on July 20. 82 cowboys and cowgirls braved the heat and sun to compete. Results are as follows: PEEWEES Bo Ross, Maylee Henry, Maverick Henry, and Lincoln Young participated in the boot toss, stick horse barrels, and dummy roping.
