Rex Retzlaff chosen for 2025 Good Neighbor Award

If you are needing a hand in Rushville and make a call for help, there is a good chance Rex Retzlaff will be arriving shortly.The Clinton resident works full-time in Rushville at Frontier Service and Supply and is one of the first volunteers to respond for the ambulance and fire department.

Kamille Kruger named 2025 SCF&R Princess

The first event at the 2025 Junior Rodeo which was held in the McGinley Arena on Sunday, July 20 was the Princess pageant.Three young ladies competed in the event in 2025 and were judged by Cati McQueen and Shauna Shadbolt.

Gordon residents Jim and Marchelle Paul named Grand Marshals for 2025 SCF&R

Gordon residents Jim and Marchelle Paul have been chosen as the 2025 Grand Marshals for the Sheridan County Fair and Rodeo.Both Jim and Marchelle graduated from Gordon High School in 1980 and 1984 respectively and have had strong ties to Sheridan County from the very beginning.

Hawks Young brings home win for the USA in Can-Am Bowl

The 27th annual Can-Am Bowl, which featured All Star 6-Man football players from the United States and Canada, was played on Tuesday, July 1 in Rosetown, Saskatchewan. The red, white, and blue would bring the win over their neighbors to the north by the final score of 70-52.
