    Chief Joseph “Joe” American Horse was honored this past Thursday, May 8 by the University of Colorado.

    The Pine Ridge, S.D. resident received the Doctor of Humane Letters degree for his extensive work assisting the Oglala Lakota and other Indigenous peoples.
