Feb 3, 2015 An experience following the feeding of the 5000 tells of Jesus walking to meet his disciples, who were in a boat headed for Capernaum. They had rowed about three miles already. The disciples were terrified when they saw Him walking toward them, but Jesus said, “It is I; don’t be afraid.” (John 6:20) There are 365 times in the Bible where the words “don’t be afraid” are mentioned. That’s one for every day of the year. Often, we meet situations we cannot control, and we are terrified. But God wants us to be filled with peace and calm. Trust Him; He knows the way. Nothing is impossible with God. Believe that He is with you through the impossible moments you now face. Don’t be afraid; He is walking toward you and will lift you up with His blessings.
