GRPS implements cell phone lockers at High & Middle School levels

Schools across the country have tried many methods for dealing with the distraction of cell phones. This varies from letting students carry and use their phones, to keeping phones out of sight and in their pockets, to outright bans.
Many schools have gone with a, “keep cell phones out of sight” policy at the high school level. This sounds great and it takes an attitude of out of sight-out of mind. …
