By Scott Bidroski Homecoming week brought in the Gibbon Buffaloes for a Friday night showdown with the Gordon-Rushville Mustangs on September 20.
The Mustangs, who entered the contest at 0-3, were in search of that first win of 2024 and wanted to use the momentum of the week to help them seal it.
In the first quarter, the Mustangs caught a break to get their first score.
