Once a discarded bag of fabric, volunteers bring it back to life and tell an amazing story

An unassuming bag of dusty old quilt blocks that were left at the Gordon Thrift Store carried with them much more than anyone could have expected.
Last fall, Thrift Store volunteer Gerri Powell came upon that unassuming bag and knew the contents were very old but custom embroidered. She had no idea of the origin of the box and contents but recognized immediately their beauty and uniqueness.
