The Girls of ‘64 have special gathering in Crete

New owner adds donuts to Piece O Cake morning fare

After the tragic loss of local business owner and community member Melanie Bourne earlier this year, and the subsequent closing of her popular cake, floral and gift shop, Piece O Cake has now re-opened for business.

Old favorites and new events at 2025 All School Reunion

The Rushville All-School Reunion is fast approaching. But the planning committee has done their homework, taking note of the events people have loved in the past and forgoing those that weren’t well attended.

Rushville City Council discusses park maintenance, leases, and law enforcement contract

The Rushville City Council met for their regular monthly meeting on Monday, May 27 beginning at 6:00 p.m.The meeting began with everyone reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.Council members present included Mayor Amanda Haller, Mark Loosvelt, Clint Anderson, Kirk Trujillo, and Barbara Stava.
