Mustangs lay it on the line at WTC in Morrill

Meet Ya in Clinton marks 30th anniversary of Cowboy Trail

The Cowboy Trail West will be a busy place this week as runners, walkers, and bikers participate in the Mile Marker Challenge, collecting one sticker from each of the 17 mile markers between Rushville and Gordon.

Mustangs take to the oval in Scottsbluff to begin 2025 track season

The 2025 Track & Field season got the green light this past week as a beautiful March day turned into success for the Gordon-Rushville Mustangs.The team traveled to Scottsbluff High School for their first action on Friday, March 28.

Unique memorial bringing pheasants back to the area

Bill Nickolisen, of Gordon, was a nature lover and avid hunter. He particularly loved pheasants. “He was greatly concerned about the conditions of our area and wanted to do anything to repopulate the pheasant population,” brother-in-law Gary Ruse said.

Tech Tips: Handy Help You Should be Using

If you’re an iPhone user, there’s an app already installed on your phone you may not know about called Reminders. If you’re an Android user, that similar app is called Google Tasks. Both of these apps work in similar ways and I’m guessing you may not be using them to their full potential.

Hawks have strong showing at District Speech

The Hay Springs Speech team made the trip to Districts this past week and brought home some serious hardware.In total, the Hawks will be sending participants to eight different events at the State Speech Meet on Friday, March 28 in Kearney, Neb.

G-R Speech puts final touch on 2025 season

The Gordon-Rushville Speech Team put the finishing touches on their 2025 season this past week with their District Competition in Maxwell, Neb. on Monday, March 17.Claire Wellnitz and Draegon Leonard competed with both finding success in their categories.
