Gordon native’s dream realized as wildland firefighter

At some point in most kids’ lives, they dream of being a firefighter. Mac Ballard had that same dream, which is understandable after being surrounded by family who didn’t shy away from fires or helping people with the aftermath of one.

Former local resident loses home to LA fires
