By Scott Bidroski As the sun faded into the horizon on Thursday, April 4, a call came into the Rushville Fire Department for a house fire in the city of Rushville.The property at 506 Sprague St.

Brett Hunter honored for coaching success

By Con Marshall The 2023-24 wrestling season was a special one for Rushville native Brett Hunter, who was a two-time champion as both a high school and a college wrestler and now has been recognized for his coaching success.

Sheridan County 4-H Foundation receives $20,000 grant

By Heidi Beguin The Sheridan County 4-H Foundation, a group which helps with the 4-H program, the Sheridan County Fair and Rodeo, and especially the 4-H facilities, has recently received a $20,000 community improvement grant from Farm Credit Services of America.
