Best of the West draws nearly 100 students to campus

    By Tena L. Cook, CSC Marketing Coordinator Nearly 100 students participated in the Seventh Annual Best of the West Business Competition at CSC Wednesday. High school students attended from Alliance, Chadron, Hay Springs, Hemingford, Omaha North, Sidney, and Valentine. President Ron K. Patterson delivered the opening welcome.

    Spokesperson for the event, Dr. Gary Dusek, said the students were excited about being on a college campus and learning about college life from panel members. The panel consisted of CSC students Alec Langan, Markus Ramsey, Bimal Sah, and April Wagner, as well as Business Academy Assistant Professor Dr. Nic Fisher. Dusek acknowledged staff and students who helped organize the contest.
