Courtesy Photo The Gordon-Rushville Speech Team traveled to Wallace for District Speech on Monday, March 11. All three competitors brought home medals. Placings were as follows: Haley Dane placed 6th in serious prose, Claire Wellnitz placed 4th in poetry and Ciara Carbajal placed 3rd in poetry. Carbajal punched her ticket with the 3rd place finish to compete in Kearney, Neb. at the State Speech Meet on Thursday, March 21.
