Addition of eagle statues brings Veterans Memorial Park one step closer to completion

    By Heidi Beguin Local Gordon business owner Casey Walton wanted to serve in the military, but couldn’t because of an issue with one of his eyes. Instead he’s taken on the completion of Gordon’s Veterans Memorial Park. “I wasn’t eligible to go to the service, so I guess this is kind of my way of serving,” he says.
