Unique memorial bringing pheasants back to the area

Bill Nickolisen, of Gordon, was a nature lover and avid hunter. He particularly loved pheasants. “He was greatly concerned about the conditions of our area and wanted to do anything to repopulate the pheasant population,” brother-in-law Gary Ruse said. At the age of 75, after a hip replacement surgery, Bill developed pneumonia and passed away on February 19, 2025.
