A firearm and bowhunter education course will be offered by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission volunteer instructors on August 21,22,23 at Craven Feed Store in Gordon.
The free course will provide instruction in the areas of safe firearms and bow use, shooting and sighting techniques, hunter ethics, game identification and conservation management. Students must attend all the sessions to complete the course.
In Nebraska, hunters ages 12 through 29 must have on their person proof of successful completion of firearm and bowhunter education while hunting with a firearm, bow, or crossbow.
