Gordon-Rushville Public Schools is excited to celebrate their upcoming Homecoming Week, Sept. 21-26.
The Theme in 2026 is Mustang Time Machine.
There is no school on Monday, September 21 but the festivities will begin in full on Tuesday, September 22.
The dress up theme will be The Past: Childhood Nostalgia in which students can dress up as a character from your favorite childhood show.
That evening, volleyball will be hosting Alliance for a C/JV/V triple header on their home floor.
On Wednesday, September 23 it will be The Present: Personal Hero as you dress as someone you admire in real life.
The King and Queen Coronation will also be at 7:00 p.m. that evening on the football field.
On Thursday, September 24 the theme will be The Future: Dress as your future self or for you future career. The Cross Country team is also hosting their only home event of the year at the Gordon Country Club that evening.
On Friday, September 25, the theme will be Blue & Orange Day. The Homecoming Parade is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. with the game kicking off at 7:00 p.m.
The Homecoming Dance will begin at 9:00 p.m. and will run until 12:00 a.m. to finish off the very busy week.
