‘Palmer amaranth in the West’ symposium scheduled in March

The Western Society of Weed Science will host a free symposium on Palmer amaranth on Thursday, March 7, at the Grand Hyatt in Denver, Colo. The symposium will be held during the society’s annual meeting.

PREEC Student Scholarship accepting applicants

The University of Nebraska – Lincoln Panhandle Research, Extension and Education Center will again offer the “Panhandle Research, Extension and Education Center Student Scholarship.” Two scholarships of $1000 each will be awarded. The application period will be open from March 1 to April 15, 2024.

Laptop checkout program offered to students

Stouffer signs to play at the next level for Black Hills State

On Thursday, February 22, St. Thomas More senior Marcus Stouffer signed his Letter of Intent to continue his football career at Black Hills State University in Spearfish, S.D.Stouffer is the son of Kelly and Barb Stouffer who live north of Rushville in northern Sheridan County.
