Eleanor Strasburger

Eleanor Elaine (Burleigh) Strasburger was born on March 16, 1929, to Louis and Gertrude Burleigh in Gordon, Nebraska, and passed away peacefully at the Gordon Countryside Care Nursing Home on November 6, 2024, at the age of 95.

Funeral services for Lloyd Thomas Hunzeker, 97 was held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2024. A memorial has been established for Pioneer Manor Nursing Home, the United Methodist Church of Hay Springs, Nebraska, and the Lloyd and Mary Ann Scholarship at Hay Springs High School.

Atreyu “Trey” Ross Thorsen was born March 5, 2005 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Christina Red Cloud and Andrew Thorsen. He passed away tragically on October 13, 2024. Trey grew up on the family farm 6 miles east of Gordon. Trey started wrestling at age 5 and was an accomplished youth wrestler.

Bonita (Bonnie) June Weber passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, in Rapid City, S.D. Bonnie was born on June 14, 1933, to William and Jean (O’Connell) Blair in Custer, S.D. She joined an older sister, Shirley, and brother, Jim. She was eventually followed by two brothers, Mike and Jack.
