The 17th annual CARE Golf Tournament was held this past weekend at the Gordon Country Club in Gordon.
28 total teams competed on the beautiful June day, finding success on the course while supporting a good cause and organization.
In the Women’s Division, Carol Weaver and Joni Elwood took home the top prize with a score of 90. Brooke Simmons and Brooke Gates would finish in second place with a score of 91. Casey Sharp and Carmen Anderson would earn third also with a score of 91.
In the Men’s Division, Keith Mills and David Morris brought home first with a 68. Joe and Nick Goranson finished in second place with a 71 and Collin Sanders and Chaz Piper ended up third with a 72.
In the Couple’s Division, Kyle and Jacobi Anderson won it with a score of 77. Jordan and Angel Skinner were right behind in second with a 78. And AJ and Jennie Grant finished third with a 79.

Hole #3 - Long Putt: Andrew Benben; Closest to Target: Anderson/Sharp. Hole #4 - Long Putt: Jordan Skinner; Closest to pin in one shot (men): Jason Lynch. Hole #5 - Long Putt: Neal Ziller; Closest to target: Rod/Marilyn Borders. Hole #6 - Long Putt: Sterling Leeper; Long Drive (men): Keith Mills. Hole #7 - Long Putt: Mitch Burton; Closest to target: Tystand/Benben. Hole #8 - Long Putt: Jeni Grant; Long Drive (women): Casey Sharp. Hole #9 - Long Putt: Chick Hensley; Closest to target: Rod Borders.
