On February 18, the Gordon Theater hosted Aliyah American Horse’s “Open Mic Poetry Reading.” Participants of all ages recited original and favored poetry selections, and a poetry contest offered prizes for three place earners.

The Nebraska State Patrol is able to release the names of the two victims killed in the Tuesday, February 20 shooting in Bloomfield. The victims have been identified as Curtis Strom, 77, and William Reffett, 49, both of Bloomfield.At approximately 9:30 a.m.
