Tiffany Knipfer, age 45, of Wessington Springs, died Thursday, March 27, 2025, at her residence. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 4, 2025, at Foothills Bible Fellowship Church in Wessington Springs. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

Albert Landreth

Albert Leo Landreth was born November 7, 1929 in a sod house just northeast of Hay Springs, Nebraska as one of nine children to Alva and Eva (Polen) Landreth. In 1943 the family moved to the farm northwest of Rushville. Albert passed away at the Pioneer Manor in Hay Springs on March 25, 2025.

Funeral services for Valora Lee Scott, 80, were held Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Douglas, Wyoming with Pastor Todd Weber officiating. Interment was at the Douglas cemetery and followed the service.

Lois R. Gaskins, 92, left us on March 1, 2025 at Box Butte General Hospital, Alliance, Neb. She was residing in Alliance at Highland Park Assisted Living. Lois was a lifelong resident in Cherry County, she was a wise and beloved matriarch and was fondly referred to as “Mrs. Eli”.
