Roberta Jean Mahan was born in Ogallala, Nebraska on October 13, 1958, to Dale and Regina (Keller) Mahan. Roberta was 1 of 4 children. She grew up on the family farm outside of Crawford Nebraska, where she helped with the daily farm chores.

Dorothy “Dot” Tinsley, 92 of Mitchell, Neb. was called to her heavenly home on June 8, 2025. A celebration of her life will be held on June 27, at 11 a.m. at the Mitchell Federated Church.

Mary Joyce (Hanks) Hood lived a fulfilling 90 years before going to be with the Lord on March 23, 2025. She passed peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones. A funeral service will be held at the Morrill Methodist Church on Saturday, May 24th at 11:00 a.m., followed by lunch.
