The Gordon-Rushville Cross Country squad made the short trip to Chadron State College this past Friday, September 11 to take on a tough, hilly course at the campus.
When the dust settled through the hills, the G-R Girls shined amongst the field, finishing in second place as a team.
Results were as follows: Kynsleigh Krebs (6th), Brittney Dehning (7th), Bristol Sterkel (8th), Ashlyn Dehning (23rd), and Hadley Banks (58th).
For the boys, they would finish sixth overall as a team.
They finished as follows: Robert Moore (16th), Luke Laws (22nd), Cordell Dehning (28th), Jackson Roffers (35th), Colvin Perry (42nd), Santos Chich (45th), Brock Fish (66th), Aiden Heiser (68th), Draegon Leonard (79th), and David Leonard (87th).
The team had another Invite to mark their mark in on Tuesday, September 15. Those results were not available at the time of print though.
The Mustangs will turn their attention to a meet in Alliance this week on Friday, September 18 next.
