By Scott Bidroski The Gordon-Rushville Boys Basketball team welcomed in the Bridgeport Bulldogs for their final home game of the season on Friday, February 9.
This night also marked Senior Night where three young men were honored for their contributions this season.
Seniors Louis Martin, Allan Tullis, and Alexander American Horse were all recognized in the pregame ceremony.
Following all the festivities, the two teams took to the floor to play some basketball.
The Bulldogs, who brought their 14-4 record into the contest, showed no mercy on the home team.
The Bulldogs raced out to an early lead and poured it on, trouncing the Mustangs by the final score of 78-14.
Individuals statistics for the Mustangs were not available at the time of print.
The Mustangs will travel to Valentine on Friday, February 16 for their final regular season game of the year.
Sub-District brackets will also be released this week and the Mustangs will either play on Monday, February 19 or Tuesday, February 20 depending on the how the seeding plays out.
