Make it four! Wellnitz qualifies for State XC all four years as a Hawk

    In his last hurrah as a Hawk, senior Parker Wellnitz punched his fourth ticket to State Cross Country during the Class D-6 District meet on Thursday, October 16.

    Wellnitz paced the course in Grant, Neb. with a time of 17:59.07 and earned a sixth place finish for the boys.

    His time in 2025 was 50 seconds faster than his time on the course in 2024, and him back to Kearney for his fourth qualification …
