Hawks season ends with Sub District loss to Longhorns

The Hay Springs Hawks Girls Basketball team took to their home floor for the opening round of the Class D2-12 Sub-District on Tuesday, February 13.Their opponent would be the Hyannis Longhorns.The two teams kept it even to begin the contest, with the Longhorns clinging to a 15-14 halftime lead.

Mustangs to get third shot at Bulldogs in District Final

The Gordon-Rushville Mustang Girls Basketball team took to the floor at Sidney High School for their first game of the 2023-24 postseason.The opponent was a familiar foe; the Bridgeport Bulldogs.The Bulldogs, of course, brought their impressive 22-0 record into the contest with G-R.

Chadron Sharks compete at Casper, Wyo. Arctic Open

After the disappointment of having their first home meet canceled due to adverse weather conditions, seven members of the Chadron Sharks Swim Team traveled to Casper, WY January 20-21, 2024, to compete in the Arctic Open.
