Hawks’ Wellnitz finishes sixth at Panhandle Classic

    The 2025 Cross Country season began this past week for the Hay Springs Hawks.

    Five student-athletes toed the line at the Panhandle Classic on Thursday, August 28 to get things rolling for the year.

    Senior Parker Wellnitz was the top finisher for the Hawks on the day, darting his way to a 6th place finish and a time of 17:53.
